Who is getstaffed?

Andrew Kissling
I'm an enthusiastic entrepreneur and innovator. I've been involved in several start-up ranging from software development consultancies, to mobile applications to this - getstaffed.com. I've also held an exec-level role with Vodafone where my team help nurture some of the coolest new mobile services around
Why getstaffed?
Well it may just help with the 'two things to do before I die'. But the main reason is that too much of what goes on in the recruitment industry resembles trafficking in humans. Don't get me wrong: some Recruitment Agencies add value, but far too many do not. We're going to change that.
Two things to do before I die:
(1) Found a wildly successful business - one that helps change the rules of an established industry, and (2) be responsible for a major humanitarian project.
Pastimes:
Mountain biking, reading, travel (leisure not business!), enjoying a cut-throat games of cards with my family

I'm an ICT contractor of many years, starting in nappies with Sun Microsystems in Sydney, before I moved to New York to be involved in the heady days of dot-com fever. Ah, the good ol' days! Then, moved back to the safer realms of New Zealand after the dot-com implosion, paying dues as a contract java architect, before heading to getstaffed to help make the world a better place! And to make Andrews life a misery... :-)
Why getstaffed?
To give contractors and business the opportunity to talk to each other direct, without non-competition contracts and heavy overheads and all that stuff. To make finding work (and workers) painless.
Two things to do before I die:
Hmm. 1. Fund a successful startup, and 2. Mountainbike trickle falls!
Pastimes:
Computery stuff, karate, mtbiking, helping Andrew understand the beauty of Mac
